Having a problem with music imported from CD and iTunes Match.

Mid 2010 MBP, Yosemite 10.10.1, iTunes 12.0.1.26
iPhone 5S, 32Gb, iOS 8.1.2

  • Music is imported from CD in iTunes using AAC and iTunes Plus settings.
  • Tracks streaming on iPhone via Match do not play properly. First 34 seconds plays, and then track is silent.
  • Tracks downloaded from Match behave in same way.
  • On MBP, in iTunes, "iCloud Status" is "Matched".
  • Tracks play fine in iTunes on MBP.
  • Tracks play fine on iPhone connected to iTunes via Home Sharing.
  • Have tried removing and reimporting albums, no improvement.

Any suggestions?!

Thanks

call applecare
they won't charge you to trouble shoot itunes/ iTunes match issues

if they do, then tell them your running iOS 8 and you just installed it

turn off itunes match
verify there is no left over music in settings - general - usage - manage storage - music on the iPhone
delete any left over music manually on the iPhone
turn iTunes match back on

try logging out and logging in on iCloud

try different wifi network or try the cellular connection

if it continues to fail , call applecare
