iTunes Match: Make iTunes cache the songs it streams

I use iTunes Match. When I play a matched song on my iPhone or iPad, the song plays and is saved on the device, meaning I can play it again later without an internet connection. iTunes 11 does not seem to do this. Every time I play a song it must download (true streaming). I don't like this behavior; I want iTunes to save the song locally like iOS does. Is there a way to enable this behavior?
