iTunes Match matching unreleased music?!

I've just put a recording of Tinie Tempah's new single (premiered via Vevo today!) into my iTunes thinking that it would upload to iTunes Match. To my surprise it matched it, while it isn't released in any market I know of yet.

Has this happened to anyone else before?

Yup. Happened to me with Magna Carta today, it's not available on iTunes yet so not sure how this works. I'm guessing they have the digital tracks ready to go but have to wait for an official release date?

Happens all the time. I have music matched that I have never seen offered for sale in iTunes in it's entire lifetime. Yes, they are the correct versions when played.
