Alright so I've had iTunes Match for almost a year and I just can't seem to figure this out. How do I get iTunes Match to match my song? I know for sure the song is on iTunes and its got the exact same titles and tags as the song in iTunes and if it doesn't, I edit them so they do. For example, I'll have an album which has 9 songs and it'll match 8 and upload one. What the heck? And the one it uploads is clearly in the iTunes Store.

Thanks for the feedback

Changing the metadata doesn't help at all, so save yourself the time on that. Currently, we are all in the same boat as you. I have hundreds of albums that have 1 uploaded song. It's a known issue with Match, but since it uploads them anyway, it "sort of" doesn't really matter since you will still have access to the song. Heck, on an iOS device you can't even tell which songs were uploaded.
