Is everyone having this problem? I stream my music at work and listen on my iPhone, then when I get home I find that none of the listens have been cataloged. Is there a way to force sync everything at once?

No, to my knowledge there isn't. Probably just another reason why Match is still in beta.

Is it still considered to be in beta? I thought they officially released it. I just hope they actually address these things. The whole point of the service is for it to be automatic and seamless.

I'm pretty sure when I signed up it said Beta. Can't find any info on it though.

It very briefly said beta on launch day, but that was changed in a matter of hours. However the quality of the service, particularly on iOS devices, sure seems to be beta. The play counts not updating is a known issue that seems to affect most everyone running Match on an iOS device. I'm hoping some things will be fixed with 5.0.2 or 5.1, but haven't seen any confirmation from developers.

If it's not beta, Apple should be embarrassed. There's numerous reports of all songs of an album matching but one, missing art in iTunes/devices and of course play counts.

A weird thing it's been doing is that when I plus my phone in, it will find scribbles from two days earlier, but not the actual time/date. For instance, If I listen to a track on Thursday, when I plus my phone in Friday, nothing happens, then I plus it in on Saturday and it will find that play from Thursday, but it will have a date like June 26th 3:47PM. I'm not sure if it's finding old plays, or making up dates and times. Just weird.

Here's another weird thing I've noticed happening....

As an example, I bought the new album by The Roots (amazing by the way) and I listened to it 4-5 times on my phone, but it would never update the plays on my iTunes at home, even after syncing. Yesterday I listened to the album on my home iTunes for the first time ever, then all of those plays showed up in the play count column.

i am also having this issue.

go and try this and see if it works for you as it does for me.

    1) find a song
    2) change the star rating
    3) see if that star rating changes in itunes.

i am able to change the star ratings, but however playcounts and last played are not syncing up

if you read this thread, you may find more info on it

apparently a few people called apple and they said they removed this feature

Star ratings seem to sync, but play counts and date last played do not.

Make sure to send feedback to apple thru their feedback page.
