Can one tell which songs have been downloaded onto your iPad or iPhone vs. those just in the cloud? I set up up iTunes Match a few weeks ago and regardless of a lot of complaints from other people, it's actually working great for me. (I have been really enjoying iTunes Radio too!). However, I live in a very rural area and i don't have access to Internet or cell service most of the places I drive....where I use my iPhone as my music source for the car.

How can I tell which songs are stored locally on my idevice? I have 18,000 songs in the cloud on match and just scrolling through is not very realistic.

Any tips? Thanks.

I just got Match 2 days ago and I figured this way for me. In the settings and scroll to "Music" and toggle off "Show All Music" and when you go into your music app, you will see whats on your phone only. Turning odd "Show All Music" removes all the iCloud stuff.
