I thought iOS6 could stream as well as download iTunes Match to your iOS device?

If I click a song it plays. I thought it was streaming but when I turn "show all music" off, the songs I have listened to are still there which I assume means the songs have actually downloaded and not streamed.

However, if I turn off Music Match completely my phone says I have no music - so did they download or not?

I'm confused!!

I think the word here is "cached". Turning off iTunes Match clears it. So it would appear not be streamed nor delibately "downloaded", but somewhere in the middle, a little bit like iOS 6 itself.

Hmm, when I go to settings/about it shows me that I have 2 songs on my phone, meaning they have in fact downloaded.

There seems no way to delete them either!!

There could be a brute force attack...Settings -> Usage -> Music -> Edit (button) -> Delete
