iTunes Match; wacky dock icon behavior

I'm cleaning up a bunch of tags and adding some album art for my 17,000 song library. If I change tags or add a cover to a large group of songs, say 50 at once, the iTunes icon on my dock bounces every so often, for no apparent reason. I'm trained to think a bouncing dock icon is an alert of some kind, so it's particularly annoying when the iTunes icon bounces randomly with no dialog.

Anyone else getting this?
