I think I have done everything right, but I do not see my iTunes in iCloud. I have home sharing on and that works, but no iTunes if I'm not connected to my home network.

I also have the problem that I have my contacts in .me account and another user name for iTunes, apps, etc.

    Any help would be appreciated!

iTunes in the cloud has not been fully released yet. Songs purchased from the iTunes store (depending on your country) will be availbable to download on any iOS device.

As to the rest of your iTunes library we need to wait until Apple release iTunes Match (Pegged in the US for the end of October).

I got this from the AppleInsider
"If you want all the benefits of iTunes in the Cloud for music you haven’t purchased from iTunes, iTunes Match is the perfect solution. It lets you store your entire collection, including music you’ve ripped from CDs or purchased somewhere other than iTunes, for just $24.99 a year," Apple says of the upcoming service"
I don't think this is as simple as it sounds.
    Can anyone clarify this?

    Space--The ONLY Frontier
iTunes in the cloud is available now.

With iTunes in the Cloud, the music you download to one device automatically appears on all your devices. So the song you buy from your Mac at work is ready and waiting for you on your iPhone when it’s time to drive home. Regardless of where you click or tap Buy, iTunes will automatically download your new songs, apps, and books to your other devices over Wi-Fi or 3G

    Available Now

    iTunes Match isn't ready yet.

I'm guessing some iTunes cloud stuff is whacked out right now because Apple is currently resetting the Match service.
