10:28AM "The third new thing happening with iTunes has to do with the iPhone."
10:29AM "The music store is no longer just on WiFi -- it's over 3G as well."
10:30AM "It's the same quality you get in the store, right on your phone, no matter where you are, and you can sync back to your computer. That starts today."
    More coming

No surprise there. A song is a couple MB, that's nothing. Should've been this way from the start.

Has nothing to do with the size. Rather legal issues with downloading over the air.

You download over the air when your downloading using Wi-Fi ;)

I imagine regular iTunes Store users are going to get their Fair-Use Data policies absolutely trashed!

I've been wanting this for over a year. There have been many times I wanted to purchase a song or CD but couldn't while I was at work.

It takes me about the same time to download a song over HSDPA as Wi-Fi. This is nice!

Seems to work quite well! I wonder if this will convince some 1st gen iPhone users to upgrade.

not any real big WOW news from the keynote. Was hoping for copy and paste or something. Quite disappointing overall.

I've never "needed" a song so bad I couldn't wait to get it from my home system, but it does work with EDGE/1st gen iPhones - at least no errors saying it requires wi-fi or 3G.

Exactly, I can't see why this was even mentioned.

Wow, a new way for us to sell you something!

Guess what, hold your hats everyone... Best Buy just installed a new cash register. Start the streamers and champagne any time now.

Someone needs to send SteveJ and Schiller a pic of the iPhone 3G, after the in ear headphone debacle and this keysnore event, they seem to forgot it exists.
