iTunes movie selection

This may be discussed several times before, but most forum posts I've found is pretty outdated.

As a new iTunes movie store user, I'm a little confused with it's selection.
It seems far from all recent releases are available.
Anyone knows why?

the iTS can only offer for sale/rent what it is given by the content-owners.
