Hello,

So I'm having a bit of a problem. I store my iTunes Movies on an external drive, and I noticed that it's saying that my movie folder is 265GB. When I go onto iTunes and look at the status bar under my movie list, it only says 213GB. What's the deal?

And I've already been through the folder in Finder, there are no duplicates.

Thanks for your help!

It's just the movie folder. In Finder it shows 265GB, but in iTunes it only shows 220GB. I'm not sure what's wrong.

Just because there is a discrepancy doesn't mean anything is wrong. Maybe Finder and iTunes report size differently. It's not a problem unless your movies don't play.

Well, if it's taking up more space then it's reporting, I think it's an issue. If it was like 10 GBs more I wouldn't care, but it's over 40GBs, nearly 10% of my external HDDs capacity. TV shows is correct, just the Movies folder.
