I imported a CD into iTunes and saw that it showed up as another artist even though I already have that artist in my collection. Its spelt exactly the same way and doesn't have any extra spaces or anything. I tried fixing it by deleting the cd from my computer and reimporting it with blank information and manually typing in the info, still can't get it right.

What the hell is going on? This is just another thing i hate about itunes, such an incredibly ****** program.

The only thing I can think of is that itunes only allows 45 albums by one artist, because that is how much I have, but that is just stupid.

You mean "spelled."

I'd try a restart. If that doesn't work, be very, very sure you're spelling everything correctly.
