iTunes - multiple libraries for multiple iPods?

Is it possible to have more than one library in iTunes on a mac?
like me and my GF want to have our own "separate" libraries on one shared computer... im thinking about playlists as the easy solution, but anyone else?

Playlists are the way to go. We have a common library and separate playlists for the music we want on our iPhones.

My wife and I use the same Library and have some different play lists.

To answer your questions, I think you could have separate libraries is you were to login as different users.

ahh thank you, yeah i figured it was playlists from the beginning. oh well i don't mind sharing 😛
