iTunes Music List Greyed Out

Just received a replacement for my dead Nano. iTunes faithfully loaded my Music Library, but in the Device list all my songs show up greyed out. Can't do anything with them. Anyone know what to do? Thanks!!

Set iTunes to manually manage your iPod.
