iTunes no longer asks for Password

For some reason, iTunes on my Mac has stopped asking for my iTunes password when downloading apps or music. While I am generally careful with where I click, this is new and can result in accidental purchases. On iOS, however, and the MAS, I am required to enter my password. Any dice?

Ever click "Remember my password" when buying something on iTunes on your computer? Could someone else have done it?

Maybe I clicked it but no one but me uses it... how do I un-click it?

Uhhh I'm not sure since I'm not at my mac right now...

I am fairly sure that logging out of the iTunes store, then logging back in, resets the password remembrance thingy.

Failing that, a hunt through the preferences panel in iTunes can't hurt.
