iTunes no longer syncs via wifi?

Ever since the recent iTunes 12.2 and 12.2.1 updates, my phone no longer syncs via wifi like it used to. I need to have it plugged in everytime now. Is anyone else having this issue?

I have this issue every so often. I simply re-connect via the lightning cable, sync manually, then it starts working via wi-fi again... for a while at least.

Using a 2012 Mac Mini with 64GB iPhone 6+, if it matters.

I tried that too and it still won't work after I sync by cable and tell it to sync by Wi-Fi.
