Itunes not finding blank disc

    I HAVE AN EXTERNAL DISC DRIVE AND I WANT TO BURN MUSIC ONTO A BLANK DISK USING THE DISC DRIVE. WHEN I PUT THE DISK IN IT COMES UP WITH THE BLANK DISK AND ASKING WHICH APPLICATION I WANT TO OPEN.
    I CHOOSE ITUNES AND ITUNES OPENS FINE. THEN WHEN I SELECT THE PLAYLIST I WANT TO BURN I CLICK BURN AND THEN IT SAYS INSERT BLANK DISC?!!! I CHANGED THE DISC TO CHECK WHETHER IT WAS THE DISC AND IT DOES THE SAME THING. CAN ANYONE HELP PLEASE COS I AM REALLY :confused:!!!!!!!!!!!!
    PS I HAVE A MAC OS X TIGER AND ITUNES 8

    Fix your bloody caps-lock key. Geezus. Anyways, try installing this:

    http://www.patchburn.de/

    It allows third-party drives to work with iLife applications.
