/hello all,

I went into iTunes to play some music and all of my purchased content won't play. I first get asked for my password and then a pop up. I've attached a pic of the pop up. Also, I've repaired permissions and this is what I keep getting. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Marc

The weird thing is everything worked fine last night. The only thing I did was update iMovie and iDVD since the last time it worked.

Another thing I just noticed is that I can not even buy new songs from my account. Also, I can't preview songs either. It keeps saying something is missing in the path.

Problem solved.

For anyone having this problem it is an easy fix, at least for me.

What happened was my permission got messed up. I needed to go to my user folder and set it back to read and write(was switched to read only). After that, in the user folder there is supposed to be a folder called 'shared'. Mine got deleted, so after changing the permissions back to read and write I needed to create a new folder and name it shared.

Thank you Applecare.

i'm sorry i'm slow, but, what user folder?

Sorry, I've been out of town and forgot all about this thread. If you still need help it is located by:

Clicking open the HD then opening the users folder. There needs to be a shared folder in there.
