itunes not recognizing iphone 13 pro max

Do you have current iTunes version (12.12.1.1)?

Have you tried restarting your iPhone?

yeap using latest itunes

Does your iPhone appear as a device in your device manager? Try updating the Apple mobile device driver while you are there in device manager.

yea it does recgonize on device manager. drivers all updated too

Likely that Apple will need to release an update for the Windows iTunes app to support the newest devices (?)

iTunes is a horrible piece of software. You have to pay for it but I highly highly recommend iMazing. It’s saved my ass numerous times to get files on and off the device, backs up the phone, individual text messages and more. It’s really something Apple should purchase and make free with iPhones.

reboot the phone, try to reattach the cable.
