Okay, so normally, I sync my iPhone to iTunes on 2 PCs. On one PC, we have the account where we have all the music and apps and things.

    That is my wife's computer.

Then, on my own computer, I usually sync it to iTunes with the only reason being to get my pictures.

But for some reason, all of a sudden, after updating iTunes to the latest version, when I plug in my iPhone, it doesn't recognize it or anything.

It's as if it isn't even plugged in.

    Any ideas?

Try turning the phone off and then hold the home button down while you plug the phone into iTunes. That will put it into recovery mode so you can do a restore and see if that solves the problem. :)

Does the iPhone show that it's connected?
For example, does the battery icon show up?
If not, make sure the cable is plugged in properly.
If you have another cable, also give that a try.
