iTunes: ok to delete ipsw files?

I updated by iPod Touch and iPhone to 4.3.3 recently and some hard drive space went missing. I found the ipsw files in the Library/iTunes/Software Updates. Can I delete these restore ipsw files?

Yes, but I recommend leaving the latest one.

there's only one for each iPhone and iPod though. Should I leave them be then?
