http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1449 describes how to move your entire library.

http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1073408 talks about moving some of your media to another place.

itunes won't copy to external HD?

I followed the instructions to move my itunes library to my external 500 GB WD hard drive from my 80 GB hard drive e-mac. When I try to organize files/consolidate files the message says that there is not enough room on my WD HD? How is that possible when the external HD is five times larger than my internal HD. The WD HD has over 300 GB of space available?

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
