I have an imac in my home office, it's my main computer and due to the size of my itunes collection it had to be moved on to an external WD hard drive (usb) but soon will be moved to NAS.

I've just bought a Macbook Pro as I work away on a regular bases, is it possible to just copy music over to the MBP? It would also be good to copy a couple of films to watch when I'm away.

Any help would be appreciated .

I can't copy the full itunes folder as it's bigger than my macbook hard drive, I only want to copy the music. Is that possible and how can I do it?
Just copy whatever music files you want to the MPB, then create a new iTunes library and add the music.
