iTunes 6.0.5 is the last version to support Jaguar (OS X 10.2)

Yeah, if you buy a new iPod you won't be able to use it unless you have at least 10.4.x. Kind of stupid as if you have a 6 year old XP system you can use any version of iTunes; alternatively you can't buy 10.4 anymore at a retail store as an older computer that can run 10.4 just fine might not be able to run Leopard at all which is all they sell anymore. Good old Apple.

I told a customer at my old job a while back ago to call Apple customer service to complain about that specific fact after he purchased an iPod, and he claimed that they sent him a copy of 10.4 for free, yet I have no idea if that was true or not.

I'm using it because I'm using a iBook g3 running at 300 mhz which is a little too slow for Panther and it doesn't have a firewire or DVD so I can't upgrade to Tiger
