Today, my iTunes caused my computer to go super slow, so I restarted it. Well, it wouldn't start, so I had to Safe Boot it. I figured iTunes was the problem, so I deleted it and reinstalled it. Now, it won't open and quits unexpectedly.

I copied my Problem Report to see. Please let me know if you have any idea as to how I can remedy this problem....THANKS!

I see nothing unusual that would cause the crash. I notice you're running 10.5.8 on Intel hardware. Any particular reason you're not running Snow Leopard? Are you using a Hackintosh or VMWare? What kind of hardware are you using?

These crashes could occur for various reasons. Here are some steps to try:
    • Disconnect any iPods, iPhones, or iPads connected, then try again.
    • Move iTunes's preference file elsewhere, then try again. (It is located at: HD -> Users -> username -> Library -> Preferences -> com.apple.iTunes.plist)
    • Reinstall iTunes.
    • Update iTunes to the latest version. (I noticed you're running iTunes 9.2 - any reason you haven't updated to 10.1.1 yet?)
    • Move the entire iTunes folder inside your Music folder elsewhere, then try again. iTunes will forget it ever had any media, but if this works it means your iTunes Library file is corrupted.
