iTunes/PC Problem

My iTunes see's my air tunes net work, however it is 'greyed' out and won't allow me to connect to it. I've checked all the setting and I think I have it right.

Any suggestions?

What iTunes version, what computer and OS are you talking about?
Also what device do you use for Air Tunes?

And what are your settings?

I got it to work by switching everything to my pc and doing updates.

Now when music is playing over remote speakers, it cuts out every few seconds for a second or two.

Any thoughts as to why??
