I have a brand new MacBook Pro and I'm getting this alert every time I start iTunes. I've been selecting "allow" every time, assuming that's the suggested option, but the alert continues to pop up. Is there a way to silence this alert? What am I doing wrong?

Thanks!

Have you enabled the firewall?

I have not. Seems odd that you should have to do that manually, seeing how most Apple stuff is ready to go out of the box :confused:. I don't remember ever seeing this message on any other Mac I've owned.

in terminal, try this and see if it gives you an odd result:

$ codesign -v /Applications/iTunes.app
