So i recently rebuilt my Titanium G4 from the ground up, new parts, ssd and battery and such, but when i play any of my favorite audio streams on iTunes, there is a huge delay from 15 sec to around a minute. Now i checked the same streams on my MDD g4 using the same iTunes but the only exception is a standard hard drive and they play instantly. My Pismo has iTunes 9 and it runs the streams just fine also. No question the PC plays them fine too. I have an airport extreme card (aftermarket Motorola PCMCIA Broadcom) and a dogfish SSD in an ata enclosure. Now the TI feels zippy in everything else but the music playing is what bugs me. Is there something i am missing or didn't do in the install?

Specs are...
Titanium G4 867
1 GB ram
250 GB SSD
Leopard 10.5.8
iTunes 10.6.3

Maybe decrease the iTunes Cache size so it has to play faster and doesn’t fill up the cache first? Idk, just an idea

Well, i got home, and i mashed the reset cache button around 30 times in iTunes. Now i checked all my streams and they all play once i double click them with no delays. So i now know what to do later.
