Now that Apple has lowered the price of DRM-free iTunes Plus tracks, does anybody know if they are allowing buyers to update old iTunes downloads to the higher quality DRM-free tracks for free?

It used to be that you could update your songs to the DRM-free iTunes Plus version by paying the additional $.30. If they had the ability to search your purchases and allow you to make this change, can't they do the same without the cost now that they are matching Amazon.com's pricing scheme?

Nope...they still charge $.30 per song to upgrade. Kinda stinks.
