iTunes Preferences Recorded on iPod?

Hey guys, quick question here.

I set up some crossfade settings for iTunes so some songs play correctly, though will those crossfade settings and other preferences be saved when I update my Library and Playlists to my iPod?

WOW, NO, the iTunes preference settings were NOT synced to the iPod! WHY NOT? 🙁
