iTunes Problem

    OK, anyone ever seen this?

    In preparation for my new iPhone I created an apple account for iTunes. I got the confirmation email, click the link and all it does is open iTunes again. I try to down a free and it tells me that I haven't verified my account yet. WTF, I just clicked on the verification link! This just goes in a vicious circle.

    Any ideas?

    I would try quitting iTunes and restarting it.

    Here ya' go; hopefully this helps....

    Visit https://myinfo.apple.com/

    Login with your Apple ID and password. From here you will see an area on the left hand side called Apple ID. Ensure your DOB, and Question and answer are filled in. Along with your current password if you need it or new password if you want to issue a new one. At times you may need to go here and verify additional information on the left hand pane to finish account setup.

    Once you saved your options in each section on the left, exit website, Launch iTunes, Click on Store in the Menu Bar, click Sign in, and sign into the iTunes Store.

    You can also contact iTunes Store Support for additional assistance on account verification.
