itunes problemo

a friend of mine said that while shes doing other things on her ibook, at the most random times, itunes will pop up out of nowhere.

any troubleshooting ideas besides updating to the latest version?

I vaguely recall this being asked by someone years ago on another site--

Not sure of the answer, but a .plst file may be involved. You may consider googling .plst and itunes and see what you come up with...

Has she installed any of those pesky iTunes controllers lately? I've discovered that some of those can have a mind of their own...

What do you mean it'll "pop out of nowhere"? It'll launch itself from time to time?
