iTunes problems after installing Leopard

I have been having iTunes problems ever since installing Leopard. It takes about 48 seconds for iTunes to open. If I try to close iTunes it will not close. I try using Force Quit and and still won't close. Anyone experiencing similar problems or have any suggestions? Thanks.

On my computer, iTunes will not sync with my iPod. It it only recognizing the free space (about 100 MBs) and thus saying there is not enough room.
