Not sure where iTunes questions go, please move to the right section as I could not see one.

I have one home PC that everyone in the family uses for iTunes, it has multiple accounts on it and that one PC is backed up as the family PC for important stuff.

iTunes has many purchases by everyone. Now my daughter is going to university next year and wants to move her stuff to her laptop as it wont be possible to update whenever she is away from home. If she logs into iTunes on her laptop, will iTunes pull down all purchases and apps tied to her account, or do they need moved over for the main PC to her laptop? (how?)

How does it work if an account is used on two different PCs?
I've got some of the free apps she's downloaded in iTunes on my phone, will these still stay on the main PC if she now uses her laptop for iTunes.

How does iTunes on her laptop handle the music and apps already on her phone, will it be smart enough to realise they were bought by her, or will it insist on wiping the phone and starting again with her laptop only apps and music?

Yes.

No problems. You can authorize up to 5 computers with your iTunes login.

They will stay until you actively remove them.

It shouldn't wipe it.

Ok, thanks. Sounds good, will give it a go. I didn't want to try then find I lose a lot of stuff.
