I am new to the Mac OS.

I have a quick question about Itunes

I have used it for years on my PC.

I want to check/uncheck songs to add to my Ipod so on my PC I highlight the songs I want to check/uncheck then I right click and a box pops up and I click on the check selections.

i cant for the life of me figure out how to do this with my new Mac

I figured out how to uncheck all my library. But I want to only select a few albums.
But

there is a little tick by each song name thats the check box click that

or highlight the selection then right click> uncheck selection

It's exactly the same as on Windows, I believe.

Have you enabled right clicking?

There you are.

Do you have a mouse?

In which case go:
System Preferences > Keyboard and Mice > enable 'Secondary Button' to the right mouse button. And you're off just like with windows 🙂

Or you can just press CTRL and click.

If you want to select songs that are not continuous then hold down the "command" key and click the songs

ok in keyboard mouse go to trackpad > clicking > Tap track pad using two fingers for secondary click

do you have mouse or trackpad?

Just hold down the control key then click to emulate right-click. Also, I believe that option click will check/uncheck a selection, command click will check/uncheck all visible items from a search or everything in a playlist.
