iTunes Radio cuts out/off when using Airplay from iPad Mini or 2007 MacBook

When I use Airplay with the newest rMBP iTunes Radio never cuts out. But when I use Airplay with iPad Mini or 2007 MacBook it cuts out every 30 minutes or so.

Is it because the antenna on those two is weak? Even if it was weaker it shouldn't be putting out because I am only 10 feet away from the AEBS. The AEBS is the newest as well.

WTF?
