ive added rick ross, dj khaled, trinidad james, macklemore just to name a few and its all clean, every single song.

ok its a total hit or miss, i added juicy j radio, bandz that make her dance was clean but next song was dirty

this is how the explicit songs look

It's just your iPhone trying to tell you to listen to better music ;)

iTunes Radio = edited (clean) songs only.

From Memphis so naturally I thought of explicit and juicy j came to mind. Custom station and Bandz was edited like crazy. It's ridiculous listening to some of the songs in a clean state. So many cut outs I don't even know what I'm listening to anymore lol

Just noticed. Unless it shows an "E" next to the song it is a clean song. If it shows that E for explicit, there you go.

Whenever I hear an explicit song I mark it "play more like this." But that hasn't increased more explicit songs.

Thrash metal station is uncensored

----------

Also keep in mind that the censored versions of a lot of songs are in the iTunes Store so it may just be luck or unluck of the draw.

So Beta 2 didn't update this, really would like to use the radio but this problem is gonna kill it if they don't fix it on the final release

I've been a reader for a long time, never posted but I wonder if it has something to do with the songs you have in your library on the phone/ipod. I noticed that when I didn't have any songs on the phone I never got an explicit song but after adding songs to the iphone that had explicit ratings i got more on the radio. Just a thought that maybe it caters to what you all ready have on the phone, but hell I could be completely wrong.

Yes, just noticed that today.
I actually had it off and it played the Milkshake song.
Not sure if it should be classified as Explicit but it had a few choice words in it.

I don't think the song selections are working perfectly yet. I have the option turned on and it's still playing the edited versions

Ok, I had the strangest thing happen to me.

Earlier in the day, I toggled the Explicit switch in iTunes Radio.

Now, I am playing a playlist from my library, Itunes Match.

2 of the songs, Flagpole Sitta and MGMT's Time To Pretend played censored versions.
The matched versions from my library are the original versions.
And it was odd, it sounded like they scrambled bad words on the unedited track.

Now I wonder if I download the matched track on my home library, will it replace it with this "clean" version.

That would be terrible.

Anyone else notice this?

Again, this is out of iTunes Radio.
