Forgive my ignorance, but can someone explain to me the main differences between iTunes Radio and the old internet radio service that was offered on iTunes and Apple TV (other than the ability to skip tracks)? Is the old one still available?

Also, has anyone really seen the service as a Pandora or Spotify Radio killer after Amish a week since release? Maybe it's convenient not to have to download another app, and the $25 a year for add-free listening is quite a bargain when you couple in iTunes Match, but I haven't seen a noticeable difference.

You can't change anything about a radio station, if you don't like it you'll have to switch stations. iTunes Radio is like Pandora, where you can make and fine tune (pun not intended) what kind of music will be playing according to your own preferences.

I have no access to Pandora, being in Europe, and I found ten euros per month to be nothing but a waste for Spotify. But I've been listening to iTunes Radio for hours on end all weekend. I absolutely love it.

I've been waiting for this since Pandora were no longer accessible in Europe, something like ten years ago :)

Pandora is available in Europe if you use a VPN with a US server. I'm in the US but I use a VPN to access the BBC iPlayer.

Spotify Radio is free and available in Europe. You don't need Spotify Premium to access the radio service.

It doesn't work quite the same way, and isn't available for free on the phone :(

Again, it's free on all devices. I use it all the time on my phone. The only service that is not free on devices (outside of the PC) is Spotify premium. You're confusing the radio service with the premium music on demand service.

 A new identity is available to me if I get plastic surgery. That's how ridiculous that comment is.
