Pandora users will know that, usually, a station will "drift" over time - it tends to get away from the initial artist/song style.
How does iTR compare in this regard?

I was playing with it but it doesn't seem to have the music I like. I like a lot of electronic music that's on independent record labels and they don't seem to have any of it.

I know this is too early and probably unknowable at this time, but...

1) Is the streaming quality 256kbps?
2) Is the quality adjustable?
3) Is it the same quality over WiFi, LTE,4G and 3G?
4) Can you pre-download music on WiFi to use later when you are on cell (and not use your cell data)?

when it comes to the music that it plays i like it better than pandora or spotify radio, but the UI is not very good and it makes me tap a lot

I am not trying to sound crass (I am genuinely curious), but what sorts of differences can users expect between iTunes Radio and a service like Pandora? Number of skips, etc.?

Stated this in another thread but in between songs early there was a short and soothing "you are listening to iTunes radio" that played. I loved it (for some reason). :apple:

i think there's really no difference, the only things i can think of is the ad-free price and platform availability
(i tried and itunes radio let me skip only 6 songs which is the same as pandora but not sure if it's like 6 songs / 1 hour like pandora or what?)

Just heard my first ad. US Department of Energy. I've probably listened to about 20 songs so this isn't too invasive like I first thought. That's good.

I have an US itunes account but iTR didnt show the radio icon in the Music app

i got it to work just had to close the music first, after signing into us account

I havent had to skip one song yet and love this much more than pandora. I listen to post hardcore music and so far I've liked all the songs. Being that it's integrated into the ipod app I feel like it's part of my library.

The fact that I don't have to sign in and that it's incorporated into an app I use daily makes me 1,000,00000000x more likely to use this than pandora

i have no songs on my iphone after i restored. tried to use iRadio at the gym but realized it only works on Wifi!

darn....

The biggest issue I have with iTunes Radio so far is the volume. When I play a song from Match it's really loud, but when I play Radio it's not even close. Hopefully they will even them out.

iTunes radio is giving me occasional ads (about 7 secs. long saying something like "You're listening to iTunes Radio!"), and recently, for the first time since a day of use, I got a full 30 second ad. This wouldn't be bothersome, except I also have iTunes Match, so it kinda takes away the perks. I hope they seek out this bug and eliminate it quickly.

OK. I must say I do not understand why Apple spent so much time on iTunes Radio. Is there anything about iTunes radio that is better than, say, TuneIn Radio? In general how is iTunes Radio different than internet radio? I do not have the iOS7 beta, so pleas enlighten me.
