What sets this apart from Pandora?

Some of my favorite features are the "Play More Like This" and "Never Play This Song" option. Another cool capability is editing my radio stations. For example I could create a "Top 40's" radio station and customize it so that it never plays a Justin Beiber song.

I don't like how after a few hours of not listening to a station and you click on it again it starts to play the same songs in the same order as you had earlier.

I would have to force close music app and it'll play new songs.

While it still has some bugs (beta) I haven't opened my Pandora app in 2 weeks. I prefer iTunes Radio because it's right in the music app, and it makes buying songs much easier. My 2 cents.

I like it. A few bugs here and there. The music selection I find isn't quite the same as what I find in apps like spotify. Maybe by the time it actually launches the music selection will grow.

It also has funny quirks. Like if I put on an 70s channel it plays 80s music. An 80s channel will play 90s music etc. Album art will show the wrong artist. And sometimes if I connect to iTunes, my wifi drops. And the music stops, then says I need a wifi connection. It's progressing I guess.

quality of sound?

What's the quality of sound like when streaming through a nice sound system? I paid the $20 or so for a year of Pandora mainly for the improved sound quality. Now at work where I stream it through a nice system it's great.

How about Apple's product, what's the quality like?

I think Pandora is $36 per year. I don't think I'll be renewing mine once iTunes Radio is out, because I don't see the point right now. I'm already paying for iTunes Match so I don't need Pandora on top of that.

The music quality seems to be good, but the sound is not very loud. When I switch from playing a song from the Music app to the Radio I have to turn the volume. I'm sure these things will get ironed out by the Fall release.

Slacker gives you unlimited skips if you pay yet Pandora and iTunes Radio still only gives you six skips even if you pay. I will try iTunes radio when it comes out but most likely stick with Slacker.
