This was the feature of ios 7 I was most looking forward to. My early impressions are very positive. I listen to a lot of music. I travel a lot so I spend a lot of time either with my headphones or listening in my car via Bluetooth.

Apple has a good starting point with iTunes Radio but what they do in the future with it will determine the success of it. Will they keep it fresh? Will they continually add stations and do other things to keep the attention of its listeners?

For a while now I have used slacker. Slacker is always adding new things and keep things timely. One thing slacker has and I hope iTunes Radio eventually adds is a news and sports section like espn radio and cnn or abc news.

Apple has enormous advantages over the likes of pandora and slacker like iTunes Radio being tied to the iTunes Store and their enormous size of its library. It's up to apple to capitalize on these advantages.
