The last few times I've connected my iPhone 4 to my Windows 7 64 bit machine in iTunes, it shows up under Devices on the left hand side. However, when I click to see the contents and sync - it shows nothing. It's either a blank white screen or it just says iPhone.

I've tried reinstalling iTunes and it doesn't work. This is also with the newest version that was released today.

All I can do is either eject the iPhone or rename it.

Anyone else having similar issues? Any ideas?

Fix

Had the same issue and uninstalled microsoft security essentials and it resolved the issue
Hope that works
