Think about it, that'd be pretty cool. Say your on another site and forum and are mentioning a song, you could just embed the clip right there in a simple and minimalistic player. People then could click it and take them to iTunes if they wanted to purchase it. Thoughts?

Nah. I don't see the point.
I mean, you could just embed a YouTube video of the song. I doubt one will purchase a song only after hearing a small clip from it. They'd rather hear the whole thing. Plus, Apple would never do that. Even if they would do that, they have other things they have to worry about in iTunes first.
