iTunes sort by volume ?

There is no way out of the box to do this. If you're on a Mac, it's possible that there is an AppleScript for it. Check http://dougscripts.com/itunes/ to see.

If the itunes table view does not have a volume column, I seriously doubt you could coerce the sorting from a script.

Did you even look? The odds are slim that you can do this at all. You might as well try looking through one of the better iTunes script repositories around.

No, however, it should be possible to make a playlist that sorts the songs by volume using AppleScript.
