iTunes spontaneously opens

Every three minutes or so, iTunes spontaneously opens. Is there a preference box I could have accidentally checked off, or is this a Tiger bug? The comp. in question is a PB, 1.5GHz, 1GB RAM, SuperDrive running 10.4.1

this has happenend to me aswell. I think it is a bug with 10.4.1, ive also expreianced other bugs with 4.1. However using the Disk Utility solved this for me, but it does open everynow and then on its own, just not as frequent.

What specifically should I do in Disk Utility? Already repaired permissions, but the problem still exists.

hmmmm..well thts all you can do really, have you got an ipod connected? maybe thts triggering* the automatic open or something? im not sure. Or have you got any third party plugins in iTunes?

No iPod connected and no third-party plugins.

I for one would have called the ghostbusters 😉
But since you fixed it, I guess you have been saved the service fee.
