I notice that the iTunes store is always slower than the surfing the web in general. I don't see the difference between a website versus a page on iTunes. Why does it take so long to access iTunes especially its starting window?

I actually try both Wi-Fi and ethernet connections to do comparison. It feels like i'm on a modem connection when I try to access the iTunes store.

i notice that too... and to take that even further... many times i notice that when going to an apple.com page (support, store, etc.) they sometimes take forever to load and even lock up firefox for a second (when no other sites do) so i don't know...
