Anyone else getting this error when they click the "updates" tab on their app store?

Yes, since sometime yesterday. And also clicking in iTunes to check for updates produces nothing, not even the dialog saying none are available. But I was still able to download new apps.

My macbook pro has the same problem, but my iMac doesn't have this problem. Interesting.

It works great in Vista. Imagine that!

Edit: Yes, it's down running on Vista also. I just had to get it to show unavailable by clicking on All Free Applications.

I had been wondering about that yesterday as only a Few Apps show up that is dated Sep. 4, and NONE for the 5th yet.
Looks like Apple has more problems other than 1. Bad Video Cards, 2. Bad iPhone Software, 3. Bad MobileMe..... and the list is growing.

This message is on my iPhone... Could it be they blocked it because I have hacked apps on it? :p

It's impossible for them to track that. Uptime has been spotty all day.

My iTunes failure is on an iMac. I'd be pretty surprised if this is hardware related, but I've been surprised before. I'm sure it isn't related to a hacked phone - mine isn't.

BTW, it hasn't been recorded specifically here - on the iPhone itself, the message says, "The iTunes Store is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later." The message isn't entirely accurate, though, because I was able to download and install a new app from the App Store, despite the supposed unavailability of the store. Seems like checking for updates is what is actually unavailable.

I was hoping this might be related to a much needed firmware update that would soon be released, but no soap so far.

I got this error on the iPhone. But it seemed to be only when I was on the "Updates" Tab. If I clicked on "Featured" or "Categories" it still seemed to work.

    iTunes Store Down

The iTunes store seems to have been down starting sometime yesterday from the number of Apps added yesterday, and none so far today.

I'm very surprised that this hasn't been Posted by a Moderator on the Main Page.

yeah, it's on and off right now. I just checked for updates, said there was nothing, checked again, gave me the error message, checked again, said there was an update... weird stuff.

Same here UK store. When i try to update all apps I get "store is busy...", trying to update individually returns something about changing shopping cart settings. I can purchase music though no trouble. It's spooked!

i'm still having the same problem today, also my 'update all' button is gone, so i have to update each app individually, so i click update app under each app, that message pops up, and it downloads anyway....any clue what is going on?

I'm seeing this as well. I've found that the most reliable way to update my apps is to find them in the store and buy them again, which doesn't generate a repeat charge.

Suddenly downloading free apps tells me that I cant use my 'shopping cart' mode and must manually shift it to the 'one click' mode!
