Hello Everyone,

Recently, I've noticed my iTunes to iTunes sharing has been really slow and boggy. 🙁 It used to be really fast, but over past weeks it really gotten slow. Is there a file somewhere that I can delete to reset home sharing. My internet is on Comcast, and I can download songs really fast from iTunes, but transferring takes forever! Does anyone know anything that could be causing this?

2 common causes to check:
  1. Are all versions of iTunes the same?
  2. Are you experiencing any other network trouble?

They are both 10.0.1 (or whatever the latest is)

No, if I screen share it looks perfect, and I can transfer documents from computer to computer flawlessly. So I don't know why this would be! 😕

Since it's file sharing from computer to computer, is Comcast limiting my bandwidth speed because they think it's an illegal file?

If you're trying to share over the Internet, and not the local network in your house, then that could very well be what's happening.
