I've looked all over the web looking at various articles and guides on how to properly transfer an iTunes library from a PC to a Mac. I found a pretty good one on this site, but I do have a couple of questions.

I have a PC at my office and I use a MBP at home. I'd like to copy my iTunes library to my Mac. My PC currently has the library.

So, if I use one of these guides to transfer everything over, what then happens to the iTunes on my PC? I know the library will still be there, but at that point, what will I no longer be able to do on the PC? Can I still plug my iPhone/iPod into it? Once transferred, do I only sync on the Mac from that point forward? Will all of my iPhone apps be transfered from the same library?

I believe there are ways to sync multiple libraries, but I don't think I want to get that involved with it.

Thanks.
